Nikos got a reaction from Chris B in Panning in the navigator
Thank you!
This inconsistency between the desktop and mobile version always makes me think that the mobile app has stopped responding to touches...

Nikos got a reaction from mac_heibu in No further development?
Just a minute!
Blaming Serif for the wrong reasons is not constructive at all !
The valid criticism, is that the iPad version ended up a top secret project...
Regarding High Sierra, breaking changes and all this stuff,
HAVE YOU ACTUALLY SPOTTED A BREAKING CHANGE?
Because if you have not, I would say that your behaviour is childish.
(If you have spotted bugs, have you reported them?)
According to MY TESTING on High Sierra Beta2+, all seems FINE.
See the screenshot.
This document, was created on my iPad, and opened on High Sierra with 1.6 β
BTW, Apple is not Microsoft.
Dropping support of 32-bit architectures 8-10 years after the cease of their production, is not exactly a "breaking change".
It is an expected, and welcome, change.

Nikos got a reaction from anon1 in (What happened to) Affinity Photo for iPad?
If we do not see something this week, it will be very disappointing.

Nikos got a reaction from Anon223029 in using Photo with Aperture 3
It was VERY unfortunate that Apple killed Aperture.
I like its superior UI (to anything else out there).
And I cannot understand why they had to kill it.
Their cash flow is quite good.
Actually, the best on the planet...

Nikos got a reaction from IgorAdedy in 100% CPU usage after HDR Merge (1.5 RC5)
I think I have spotted a bug.
After an HDR Merge (3 images at 42MP), AP beta sticks at 100% CPU usage.
I waited for more than a minute, but it kept on at 100%
After saving the result to a file, CPU usage dropped back to the normal 2-3% (for an idle application).
Hardware: Retina MacBook Pro @ 2.6GHz (16GB RAM), with an external 27" Dell monitor attached
Check the screenshot.

Nikos got a reaction from AndyF in [ADe] Sketch-like "Pages"
Hello there,
Artboards help in organising stuff, but as soon as you have more than 5-6 artboards, things get hairy.
The layers panel might have hundreds of items.
Being able to organize content into "Pages", would be a huge time saver.
Both for navigating a big document and for editing it.
And it does not sound as something complex, from an implementation perspective.

Nikos got a reaction from ronnyb in Affinity Designer Customer Beta (1.5 - Beta 15)
Quicklook previews still look awful.
I think it is unacceptable to see a low-res raster preview for Affinity Designer files.
I pointed this out least 6 months ago.
