Here is an empty doc - It's the same problem even with empty txt. If it helps I don't know. Hopefully it will soon be fixed :-) doc.pdf

MacOs 13.1 Affinity2 publisher V2 2.0.4 Eula. Attachment 1 where you see pdf for print and 2 where you don't see it when I chose printersmarks, bleed.

if you check the attachment I included here there you see what I mean, I hope. Maybe we need a best way to export INFO for printing.

I suppose pdf for print preset was to make sure you get the best printing results When I ignore it I still can't include bleed. The printing compagny wants bleed and printer marks to make sure it is done right. Otherwise it would be helpful if there was a way to export documents to be sure it works for the companies. The preset option works for pdf export but when I check printers markers or try to check bleed it disappears. This worked in V1.

Hi What is the reason when I chose pdf for print and check include printers marks but I can't check include bleed? - under preset pdf for print disappears and it's not possible to chose include bleed but only preview export when complete? What is the best way to export at document for printing book, covers etc? I guess pdf for print is the best way, right? Under Hope someone can tell me the best way to export and save for print. I am using v2. V1 one this wasn't a problem as I remember it.

Would it be possible to save a final document in publisher V2 as a Pages, Word file too? Working in publisher and correcting things I would like to save it as Pages, Word copy also.

I use Palatino so it shouldn't be a problem ... I does it some times I think. I will do it later exporting to Pdf Thanks :-) Here is export setting attachments. Seems like it sometimes makes the mistakes and sometimes it doesn't. Last time I exported it didn't do it. Wonder why?

I stopped using Prevent orphaned first lines and Prevent widowed last lines and try to fix it other way. Maybe I don't do it right. Can you tell my why this mistake appears when I export my document as pdf file. Look at the attachment. What shall I do to avoid this exporting to pdf before sending it to print.

MOD EDIT - The following was 'split' from a post in Tutorials, as the additional information provided there belongs more suitably in a 'Questions' thread. I do hope AfPub will come up with book templates soon. Not sure if all dictionaries are included yet. I still miss the Danish ones. I did manage to put a Danish dictionary though. Not sure why Prevent orphaned first lines and Prevent widowed last lines doesn't work well when I try to use it. I end up not using them.

I found Rory Mole showing how to do a book template or book layout in Affinity Publisher. I think it is worth to watch. It is very helpful :-) MOD EDIT - additional questions split to this thread -

Walt, I did install this hyph_da_DK.dic in the publisher dictionaries (ressources) but I don't see it in the publisher as you can see.

Walt yes I try it since another was also kind to suggest it :-) I only use Mac :-)

Psenda I meant Affinity software in general but you are right about .afpub as it says when you use publisher
