  1. Hi, I just added a post to this thread. I also have problems with stacking. Iface that it are the flat frames that prevent the stacking to progress (mac version 1.9.1). light, dark and bias use is fine. Is anything known about that? I am sure it has nothing to do with binning. I checked that. It is not really a crash, I still can use navigate through the files. But it will not start stacking again, whatever I try (e.g. adding/deleting files in the set). I did not touch the bad pixel options.
  2. I also experience that stacking does not work sometimes. If I stack only light frames, or with darks, and with bias frames, it works. However, if I add flat frames, it shows that it starts stacking, but after a short period, it looks as if the progress goes very fast and then the box showing the progress disappears. But there is no result in the "stacked images' section. At that time I cannot do much anymore, and have to start all over again, with same results. I use FITS data from QSI583 imager, monochrome, 1x1 binning. I work with version 1.9.1, Mac version
  3. Thanks Walt! I was not aware that this was archive forum. I will take that into account next time. Regarding that scrolling, I am using Mac version...now I know that it should work, at least in Windows, I tried again. I had to undock the info panel and enlarge its length to see that there was indeed an extra point added below the first two. And with that scrolling became possible! So thank you for this tip!
  4. Hi, I want to continue/reopen this again... In version 1.7.3 I can add two points the way this is described in the manual and the above mentioned help. However, I would like to have some more points. Is this possible? Nothing happens if I click 'add new sampler'. the third replaces the second. In addition, a number next to each point would be very helpful indeed!
  5. Herewith a screenshot of the picture after opening the psd file. I have included the channels. I notice that all adjustment layers that were assigned to the Ha green layers (lowest in the list) are now on top of that layer. Because this causes the lack of enhancement of the green information, the picture turns purple. The second picture, with the orange to blue color scaling, is the result that I get if I open the jpg version of the same picture. After correcting the adjustment layer assignment errors, I get something quite close, but not entirely the same, as I have in photoshop CS6. I read on the forum that selective colours may cause this, but did not find anything really similar. And maybe there is a work-around? Thanks!
  6. Hi, I am just evaluating affinity photo to move away from photoshop CS6. I use this for astrophotography. I am not very proficient in photoshop yet, so the sooner to go to alternative the better. As I have already many files in psd format that may need additional editing in (potentially) Affinity Photo, my first attempt (after reading many tutorials) was to see if importing worked well. It did not. Final color was entirely wrong. Then I noticed that all the adjustment layers that were originally connected to the green pixel layer were moved to other (adjustment) layers. After some reworking I got something that I recognised as close to the result in photoshop. However, I am not very fond of making such corrections every time I import a psd file. Does anyone recognise similar issues, or knows what is going wrong and how to avoid that? Thanks!
