It sounds as though you are accidentally hitting tab which is the shortcut for hiding the UI if you press it again the UI will come back.

Hi guys. I’m new to AD. I’m finding it frustrating that at apparently random times while I’m busy drawing, the toolbars vanish until I click the corner UI button to bring them back. Is there a setting to disable the disappearing act?
