A .tif file is never a problem. A .afphoto is a problem. You are using the thumbnail option, where are your .afphoto files?
-
No it is not. This is Irfanview, latest version. Result: "No preview possible!"
I didn't researched Irfanview 64 Thumbnail further, because this interface is from 1998 and can't show the modern folder structure.

sorry, it's a no-go for me.
I really hope Affinity will make the file-format compatible with OneDrive.

I can't verify IrFanView. IrFanView is powerfull but old, old interface.
Nevertheless, File explorer are showing the thumbnail correctly. The problem is that the thumbnail is not shown if you use a cloud service like Onedrive. Files placed on Onedrive and showed with the explorer are not showed

Unfortunately not. Affinity should contact Microsoft and add there extension to OneDrive.
-
Also not showing Thumbnails when using cloud storage.
The problem is that OneDrive or any other cloud storage (like SharePoint) are not aware of this file extention. Affinity should contact and publish there file formats.
SharePoint is a professional cloud storage for companies.

Yes I already tested this. When I save it to Onedrive folder and the copy it to a simple lokal drive, the thumbnail is visible. But the conclusion you make is to quick. All other programs don't have this issue. If I look at a .psd file on Onedrive online, I see the thumbnail. A .afphoto file is not recognized by Onedrive. I think you need to add your extension to a common recognizable file format. Adobe formats are all known and are shown correctly.
I think Affinity should add/request their file formats to this list:

Thank you for the quick rsponce.
Yes I enabled the opstion in preferences.
It occurs only in OndeDrive folders. When I save a file in a folder other than a OneDrive synced folder, the thumbnail is visible. Savind in a Synced folder (for example images) there is no thumbnail.
Thumbnail No: C:\Users\edwin\OneDrive\images
Thumbnail Yes: C:\Users\edwin\images

I just see the afphoto logo instead of a thumbnail of the image.
The problem occurs when I save the file in a OneDrive folder. Photoshop works fine in this setting.
I use the OneDrive folder to sync to the cloud. OneDrive is important for my workproses and is part of the Office 365 familiy.
When do you have a solution?
