As you can see below, I have the artistic text tool selected, but the toolbar does not change to match the tool. I tried reinstalling but it didn't fix the issue, am I doing something wrong? EDIT: My mistake was disabling the context toolbar. For other frustrated users, the steps to enable it are shown below
