  1. Hey there! I'm loving the 32 bit panorama stitching in Affinity Photo, but have a suggestion that should be quite easy to implement and add serious value to the tool. Right now, the panorama module appears to only use 32bit mode with EXR source files; when using RAW/DNG, it renders a 16bit panorama. While it's possible to use Affinity's "New HDR Merge" module without tone mapping to produce the EXR, this is extremely tedious and appears to be impossible to automate with a batch job. It seems like it would be quite simple for the panorama module to convert source DNGs to EXRs rather than apply a default tone mapping. This would make 32 bit panoramas much easier to create for what I image are the vast majority of potential uses (RAW/DNG vs an exposure bracketed stack).
  2. When duplicating and moving an object in Affinity Designer with option+drag, 3 history items are created: Transform Duplicate Transform Intuitively, I expect only one, and when "undoing" with command+z, the "Duplicate" action doesn't make a visible change, leading me to frequently end up with unintended duplicates all over the place. I think that merging these into a single history item would be a huge usability improvement. Check out the bug in a tiny screencast: bug.mov
  3. Hey there! Firstly: awesome tool. Downloaded it in a pinch when I formatted my system disk as case-sensitive, which totally breaks Adobe's nasty old codebase. I'm now trying to completely remove Adobe from my computer, and this feature's definitely a blocker: I have been quite heavy-handed with vector smart objects over the years, which allow really powerful interoperability between Illustrator and Photoshop. Without this, almost all of my vector work will be inaccessible. I'm not sure how smart objects are stored internally, but if their contents could be expanded and grouped on import this would be a massive win for my use case.
