I think SrPx is probably on the right track as to why it hasn't happened yet. I for one would love Affinity on Linux, and I can think of a few others who would, too. But as far as where to invest resources... it seems like a hard sell, especially when there might be some kind of Android tablet/desktop market surfacing before too awful long. That's where I would allocate resources, I can tell ya that...

Is there a keyboard shortcut for this? I believe Shift+X does this on Illustrator.

Guys, loving the sound of this update and the good vibes surrounding it! I love Affinity! And I have to admit, hearing about the Inkdropper was an INSTANT download click for me. Unfortunately, I keep hitting this error when trying to launch: "Affinity Photo Beta quit unexpectedly." It's strange, because I swear I actually had that error recently with regular AP, but I updated it in the App Store and rebooted and it was fine. Not sure how to get this beta to work... I've had betas in the past work fine.

Purchased, these look terrific! I'm having a problem installing the Papers set for some reason... it keeps saying "The file appears to be corrupted." I made sure to update to the latest version, and the brushes all installed fine... any ideas?

Agreed. I'm totally in love with the Affinity software, but I still need to have Illustrator open to do image traces. This feature is also a dealbreaker when it comes to convincing people like my boss who use that feature all the time... (I'm sure very soon he will start to get mad at me for all of these .afdesign files instead of .ai files... ;))

Hi MEB! Thanks for all your help today. It's really appreciated. This video actually is helping me to do what I want. I had no idea you could automatically make slices from objects. With a little bit of workaround thinking, I'm pretty sure I can do what I need. :) EDIT: I actually found what I was looking for, more or less, with re-linking files! There's a button called "Replace Image" in the context toolbar when a raster image is selected! Yes!

Any word on this? Relinking (or replacing bitmaps) is also pretty vital to my workflow. I'm surprised this feature doesn't exist?

Oops, I wasn't holding Command (or option) before dragging. Now I've got it! Thank you! One more Q: Is there any way to do this with Slices? (Which, by the way, I'm super excited about! I hate exporting artboards in Illustrator!)

Hi! Maybe this feature already exists and I'm missing it, but in Illustrator, I constantly copy and paste by dragging objects and holding the Option key. Possibly there's a different key command in Affinity that I'm missing, but it doesn't seem to be any of the common ones, if this behavior exists. If not, then, I guess I posted in the right forum! :) Cheers, you guys are killing it.
