  1. Hi all I am working on a text frame and I created a gradient fill on the fly. Now I want to save the gradient so I can apply it to other text frames. It seems there is no way to save it - I've searched the online manual and explored the program. I expect to see an "Add Current Fill to Swatch" option in the "Gradient" child panel of the "Text Frame" panel. But there isn't one. Did I do things in the wrong order? Thanks for feedback Andy
  2. Thanks all for feedback My mistake - indeed, a manual *is* accessible from the Help menu within the program. Not sure how I missed this. I still think that such a wonderful resource should be more easily discoverable from the website though and mentioned in the Welcome email.
  3. Perfect! Thank you, haakoo. That's just what I was looking for! Why on earth can it not be found (or at least easily found) via the website or from the software itself. It is not even mentioned in the welcome email (which only points to tutorials). Really weird.
  4. Hi all I have been interested in Affinity Publisher for a few months - now that I have some free time, I decided to take advantage of the free trial. I have just downloaded it. To my surprise, the only way to learn the program is to use tutorials, which seem to be aimed at layout program newbies. In my case, I've used ID and QXP in the past so I don't want to get up to speed as such but to systematically learn/know everything Affinity Publisher has to offer (which is my way of learning new programs), especially given what I have read about AP's low "discoverability". So are there any methods to learn the software systematically? ideally online or print manuals If there are not any at the moment, do you plan to realease any in the future? If so, when? Thank you Andy
