  1. It would be great if you could update the background layer from the develop module, i.e. in the same way smart objects work in Ps. This way if you wanted to make a raw non-destructive change to the original you could and it would update in thw base layer of your image in the photo module.
  2. I would really like if it was possible to add more specific colours (colors) in the HSL sliders in Photo. I was tryingt o recreate a picture that I hd donw in Lr but because orange is missing I was unable to do it. Also HSL in the develop module would be appreciated. I only want to use the photo module for advanced edits.
  3. So Lightroom won't support .afphoto and APB won't support saving to PSD. Therefore I will have to continue to using PS my photo editor, as it is extremely troublesome to have to keep exporting out to psd then closing the file I am working on an reopening it in APB to make sure I am using the correct version. For any that wishes to use Lightroom as there collection/RAW editor and AP as there photo editor this will cause a lot of issues. People will want to edit there files and have them just appear updated back in their Lightroom catalogue. I understand AP is a RAW editor too but at the moment it doesn't have the catalogue type features a lot of people need. I have to say thats unfortunate and disappointing, especially as it could be so easily added. Maybe even if it saved to psd and afphoto at the same time. That way all info was saved.
  4. Then what are the chances Lightroom will support .afphoto ;)Maybe a Lightroom plugin to export to .afphoto is needed. I will have to send Adobe a few requests. Until then can you look at the exporting with an exposure layer bug. Regards
  5. I am still incredibly disappointed with the fact you have to export a PSD even if you are working on one. Exporting a PSD over itself while working on it is ridiculous. You never know if you are using the corrrect version or not. Please add the ability to just save back to the file your working on without having to make a .afphoto file. Also in this version if you export with an exposure layer neither photoshop or APB can open it. This is the same bug as I mentioned in the beta.
  6. Was one of the layers on the large psd an exposure layer. I am still trying to see if it is just the exposure layer causing these issues.
  7. A little bit of further testing: I exported the psd with no exposure layer and was able to open it in PS. I then created an exposure layer in PS and saved it. I was able to open the PSD in APB and make changes to the layer. I then re-exported it with the changes I had made and when i tried to open PS I got the flatten message gain. Tried to open it in APB, i got the parsing error again. Finally I created a brand new document, added an exposure layer and exported. I couldn't open this file APB (parsing error) or PS (flatten error). I hope this helps out.
  8. Hi I have an update on this issue. It appears that this only happens when there is an exposure layer. I did some testing and removed layers 1 by 1 from my PSD file. Once I removed the exposure layers, I could open the PSD in PS and in APB with no problems. This is with both the editability and the accuracy preset. Once I put back in the exposure layers, neither APB or PS could open the file with the errors above. The files sizes where still huge though (maybe that's correct though) Layers in my PSD that were fine were: 6 pixel layers (including background), 3 levels adjustment layers & 1 brightness layer. Most layers had masks with the expectation of 3 of pixels layers. Maybe you could try and remove your layers 1 by 1 in your PSD file to see what the offending one is and let me/us know. Regards
  9. Hi I am issue with PSD import. I am using beta version 1.2.1.25787. I opened a file from Lightroom to APB. This created a new psd, which I worked on in APB. I then exported the file (it contained about 6 layers) twice, one with editability and one with accuracy. Lightroom can display both files. I can only open the files in PS if I flatten them, otherwise they wont open (file is not compatible). Also when I try to re-open them in APB I get an error (File could not be parsed). Also I cannot save the psd I am working on I have to keep exporting it. This makes it very awkward as if I export the file I am working on to the same PSD, I am never sure if I need to reload the psd into APB, as I am continuing work on it. (Hope I'm explaining that well) Versions: Lightroom CC 2015 PS CC 2014 APB 1.2.1.25787 I sent on the files originally in an email, with the subject line for a closed bug but I can post a link to them here or resend if needed. Regards p.s. if I am putting this in the wrong place please let me know and I will move to correct location.
