Activating Alignment handles either randomly not showing, or is displaced to the right. See video. This happens is persisting after restart, new documents. It is also an issue when using Designer via Studio link. It is working as intended in Designer when working in that program (not using the studio link feature). Publllsher 204 alignments handles off.wmv

When working in an isometric grid using alignment handles to align objects to each other crashes the app.

Returning to this topic of ODF import in Publisher. And since there is now the option for Dropbox as linked service, it would be nice to add Google as Linked Service and be able to use Google Spreadsheets as data merge file

A lot of respect to the Affinity team for listening to customer feedback and deciding to accommodate their users on this issue! I also found it very annoying with the new installer method and exe-aliases not being accessible from certain 3rd party apps (Photo Mechanic and a Huion Keypad device software) but I could definitely get by with a few seconds delay or extra navigation. But really: the price/performance ratio of the entire suite is just ridiculous! Cheers and gratitude for Affinity for making high quality software at an incredible good price point, and a company structure and policy that actually engages with their users quirks and gripes!

I experience the same problem. I cannot "Edit with" in Photo Mechanic Plus, I get the error: "The system cannot access the file". Have not tried the Capture One. It seems there is a workaround, but that is really not user friendly/oriented. Fingers crossed that Affinity solves this. Other than that, cheers and congrats on the new suite. Price/performance is fantastic.

Ok. Do you require all the linked image files as well? This is a protoype/developing a card game, so a little reluctant to share all this, if you understand?

The bug is as seen in the video. I have a publisher document with three pages. I have imported the same data merge file three times, and defined different data ranges for each source to each page. It works absolutely fine and correct as I want during "generate". The bug is as follows. If I am viewing page 1 in the document, and change the preview source for page 1, the data merge preview changes correctly on page 1, but then all of a sudden the page view jumps to the last page in the document. Not ideal... I am using the latest Publisher on Win10 publsiher data merge bug.wmv

Thanks for swift reply. Too bad... They are really cool tools that I use on and off all the time. Would be nice with customizable shortcuts.

I've looked and searched the forum but could not find an answers. Is is possible to assign your own keyboard shortcut to the above mentioned functions?

Use the threshold layer adjustment. I think that is the easiest.

There are some plugins that do what you want, but they are unfortunately not working with AP. Negative Lab Pro is for Lightroom and Color Perfect is for Photoshop. The last I did try to install and run as a "third party plug" for AP but did not work. I find that Darktable does a fairly good job for inverting a negative without to much adjustment - nice if you have a lot of negatives. Inverting in AP to get a good result is much more cumbersome.... Of all the methods I have seen on Youtube I think this gives the best and most consistent result.. But requires some work.

I get that in windows picture viewer as well. As far as I know, it's the windows viewer is not color controlled. Very strange.... If you open the image file in a browser, it usually resembles the AP colors.

If you have the all three applications, the studio link option is the solution if you are working in Publisher. Start in Publisher, switch to Designer Persona for the isometric work, and switch back when you need the Publisher tools. From Photo I am not sure how to solve that issue.

Look at the bottom of the interface - gives al the options with shift, ctrl, alt, drag, right/left click.

I have not found any free mockup that works without a little adjustment. But it's not that difficult remaking the mockups you import. It's a one time effort. Place the content and apply the perspective adjustment in the layer tool. This is a non destructive workflow, so you can replace the imported content as you wish, as long as it's same dimensions.

I find that point transform tool is a hidden gem. It really gives some features I can not find in other tools. Here it snaps center of a circle to a curve. point transform snapping.wmv

Thanks for investigating. Although I think the different results and feedback is puzzling. As written this is just for testing, and we are very soon going to have a cooperation with the prepress team, so I will eventually get to know what might be going on.

As written above I export to PDF default press ready settings. I am testing layout, colors etc. on www.makemygame.com. They have a service where you can upload art work for different types of games. Mind that this is not the normal way of producing games, it's' for small production run prototypes but I am using it as we are preparing for a normal prodction and wanted to check a few things.

Yes. Here is the two PDFs. File names self explanatory. I am in the process of preparing files for a card game, and using the manufacturers website for testing/pre fligthing. It's the file with inner shadow FX that gives me an error with RGB artwork. The pure text file goes through with no issues. And as described above, the only difference is the Inner Shadow FX on the text. Pure text.pdf Text with inner shadow fx.pdf
