Publisher crash - File will not open anymore

Hie there, I have just finished reconstructing my layout master and writing the first instruction booklet. Well, almost. I was fitting in the last image, when Publisher crashed. It opens other files but not the one I was working on. The prgramm starts but shuts down after a few seconds. I retrieved older versions of the file and renamed them. Does not work. Help! Need my work back!
