I believe all of the images in this document are linked. I just placed them using the Place Image Tool. I have attached the page of the file that has problems. The arrows pointing to Debt Elimination Plans and Life Insurance are the images that disappear when I export the file as a pdf. Sorry I don't know how to provide a link or what PM means. Why do some Affinity Designer images placed in an affinity Publisher document "disappear" when I export the file in a pdf format? Also why do some of the colored text frames morph into some odd colored shapes of the same frame color when I perform the same operation?

The problem is erratic. I've found a workaround in restarting the program. It usually only needs one complete shut down & restart. When it does work I can place an image in a new or existing canvas. When it doesn't work, I can't select the tool or using <File><Place>. Thank you for your interest in this issue.

I have recently upgraded my iMac OS to Catalina. I can no longer place an image in Designer. Whether I use the Place Image Tool, which I have a very difficult time in selecting, or select Place from the file menu, I get the same result, the spinning color wheel appears for approximately 15 seconds then nothing. Is this a glitch or is there an upgrade available to correct this annoying problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
