It is not in the iPad version. I think Serif would like to include it in the future, but I do not know their plans, and they generally do not comment on future plans.

The display has rounded corners. When measured diagonally as a rectangle, the iPad Air screen is 10.86 inches. Actual viewable area is less. Battery life varies by use and configuration. See apple.com/batteries for more information. Apple Pencil sold separately. Data plan required. 5G is available in select markets and through select carriers. Speeds vary based on site conditions and carrier. For details on 5G support, contact your carrier and see apple.com/ipad/cellular. Keyboards and other accessories sold separately. Apps are available on the App Store. Title availability is subject to change. The Affinity Publisher app available later this year.(Apple changed it from Summer 2022 to later this year) this sounds like a delay to me.

It’s passed the beta stage.  It should be released sometime in march

Hopefully the iPad version of Publisher will still work on non M1 iPad Air. 

That’s a great catch, and thanks for sharing! M1 iPad Air “arrives 18 March” so it seems that Affinity Publisher is inches away of being officially announced for iPad. I think that would make little sense for Apple to promote its new M1 iPad with an app that would not be available at iPad’s launch. It seems reasonable to believe so.

Apple have just announced the iPad Air 5 today, and the new page for the 5 on Apple’s website actually shows Affinity Publisher running on the new device.

So there is an alpha version out there. This must be the Christmas miracle people talk about. I was losing faith that the iPad version of publisher would ever be seen on a midnight clear. Ho ho ho

I am sure Ash will update us all soon enough, but I am not this pessimistic. I have seen StudioLink on an iPad Publisher alpha and it working fine so far.

Announced in 2019 as being developed, still waiting as we approach 2022

It would be nice if a beta version came out before September.  The iPad version was promised in 2020 and we are more then half way through the year.
