  1. even Canva has the AI generator now, they could even create an extra program like Affinity AI so we can happily pay for it, just make it happen as for Linux support it would just make them work more for nothing, no professional environment uses Linux except for a tiny percentage of freelancers maybe
  2. AI generation works amazingly well in latest Photoshop Beta, Affinity can't get behind, please work on that ASAP
  3. True but that's because there are tax differences between USA and Europe. Considering Poland is a part of EU we should be allowed to chose between our own currency and Euros. I have no idea why isn't there an option to pay in whichever currency I prefer. I'm not even saying that I would like to pay in US dollars because that would probably be illegal not to take 23% VAT from me. I just want to use Euros because it's totally up to me to take care of exchange currency, not Serif.
  4. And since I've just realized that buying it on Serif website is the best option I've decided to leave another comment. You see you can get it on Serif and then activate in the MS Store, this way you have an independent license from Serif (not bound to MS account) but at the same time you can use the login credentials from Serif to authenticate your license on different MS accounts. Is this correct? Is it perfectly legal to do so? I'm talking about doing this in the MS Store version of the app:
  5. Hey, the currency exchange rate is wrong in my local curreny (Polish złoty). How can I force the website to charge me in Euros? Here's what the Serif website shows me at the checkout: But the actual price on main page is €119,99 which is around 560 Polish Złoty. The price at Microsoft Store on Windows 11 is 569 Polish Złoty which is a lot closer to €199,99 but I'd rather pay directly to Serif. MS Store screenshot:
  6. That's really nice! Finally. Although installing between machines is much faster with the MS Store.
  7. Thanks a lot man I really appreciate it. But anyway the apps are still bound to Affinity Serif account because when you purchase assets you need to login right? But that's the only connection which doesn't change anything. All in all to me it's more convenient to get the Windows store version because of automatic updates and distribution between devices.
  8. Maybe it's because the apps aren't "paid" in the Store in the first place. The purchase is indeed associated with the app itself at later stage but for some reason it doesn't accept what I'm trying to use.
  9. Will I be able to download standalone clients from Affinity website in case for some reason MS Store version disappears from the store? Basically I want to know if buying directly from MS Store somehow adds a license to my Affinity Serif website/account?
  10. Here's what I'm talking about, just covered my data the phone number payment is blocked for some reason...
  11. Ohh no it has nothing to do with launching the apps on phone. I'm talking about payment method so that the apps are billed directly into my phone bill. It works for other apps and PC/Xbox games.
  12. Pretty much what's in the subject. I can pick between several Visa or Mastercard cards but can't seem to select payment by mobile phone (so it adds to my next phone bill). The option is greyed out. Anyone else? Putting it on my bill gives me more accounting options than usual if you're wondering why I want to do it this way.
  13. Soooo I guess this still hasn't been resolved yet? I'm on latest RTM build of Windows 11 and still can't enable hardware acceleration on my RX5600.
  14. I do have the same problem with integrated Intel GPU and some variant of Core i5 at work too. It's not limited to Ryzen/AMD (which I use as well on my own PC). Unchecking the hardware acceleration fixes it.
  15. The performance is really really bad with OpenCL enabled, it also happens on my computers with Intel/NVIDIA at work. Here's my benchmark screenshot with OpenCL disabled and enabled from my home PC. Specs: Ryzen 3700X Radeon RX 5600XT 32GB RAM NVME SSD all drivers from AMD (chipset, GPU) and Windows 10 x64 (19042.789) up to date I can see in task manager that the GPU is not used at all (never jumps above 1% of usage) during the benchmark process (with or without OpenCL acceleration). With enabled (horrible performance, UI hangs all the time):
  16. OK then, I guess we will see when the time comes. I don't like the fact that I can't change my e-mail on the Serif purchase and had no idea I wouldn't be able to before purchasing. As for the standalone versions they should have some sort of updater included because it's a pain to update those programs one by one. Windows Store version is just more convenient I guess but I do have my copies of all Affinity programs on my Serif account.
  17. I guess the subject says it all. Right now if we get an upgrade it's free because it still hasn't reached 2.0. What happens if we purchase the programs in Windows 10 Store and the update from 1.x to 2.x goes live? Just a question. Because I'm thinking of rebuying the software on Windows 10 Store (for automatic updates).
  18. freepik and flaticon files (AI, EPS, PSD, PDF) work fine most of the time
  19. ok that makes sense, still some sort of update manager for standalone clients would be great, I'm not saying like Adobe CC has but something lightweight
  20. Windows, bought directly from Affinity, didn't want to tie my software to MS Store etc. because I have no idea how the update to 2.x version will go through that.
  21. Hi, are there any plans for applying updates automatically? Some sort of update manager etc.? It's kind of annoying to update every single program by hand.
  22. Yeah that's time consuming to make it right, how about fading out between two layers? How can I do that? Here's how it works in Photoshop, just with one easy move: https://imgur.com/aJ0Gl7h
