  1. Frequently when I change brushes in Affinity Photo 2, it gets hung up and I have to select the brush I want a few times in order to get it to actually switch brushes. This issue did not occur in Affinity Photo 1. I am using a Huion Pro V2 H610 tablet. Issue does not seem to occur when clicking the brush with a mouse.
  2. Upon further testing, I do see that rasterizing the layer does resample/change the pixels slightly. It does it in a very insignificant way which created confusion.
  3. When I rasterize a layer after upscaling, it does not appear to change the pixel count?
  4. This is an important feature that needs to be added. Photoshop + numerous other programs already do this.
  5. It seems like a lack of resampling after using the move tool is a critical feature to be missing? After upscaling images, the result is very pixelated and should be resampled. Leaving that step to the end when exporting doesn't give a very good impression of what the image will look like while working on it. I considered the method of putting a layer into another document and resizing there, but that leads to horrible workflow + doesn't give reference to what size it should be, in relation to other objects.
  6. Does Affinity Photo resample the layer like photoshop does when you upscale/downscale with the move tool? Or is resampling only available with "Resize Document"? If so, is there a way to select which resampling algorithm it uses?
  7. Would also like to see this implemented but in affinity photo.
  8. Would like to see more options for adjusting the brush texture, such as how strongly the texture is applied, what kind of blending is applied (multiply/subtract etc.) Would also like to see the pen pressure jamming issue fixed. When drawing, the brush may make a dot/stamp at 100% pressure strength, when it is only being pressed lightly. (LightBox라이트박스 made a video trying out affinity photo, and noted this issue as being a critical flaw.) As someone who uses affinity photo primarily for digital painting + drawing, these are very important.
  9. I did try the menu options instead of ctrl+P, and I tried to edit projections in external editor one, but none of that worked. I have read that windows store apps do not have exe files, and am wondering if the exe file I found in my files is not a correct/usable one.
  10. Hello, in 3DCoat you can hit the hotkey ctrl+p to open up the 3Dcoat paint layer stack into an external editor such as photoshop. I have tried this successfully with krita, but when I use affinity photo it does not open up. I believe the issue is that I have the Windows Store version of affinity photo, and I need to designate the .exe in 3Dcoat for it to open up. I went into the hidden folders in my computer to find affinity photos' Photo.exe file, and selected that; and 3Dcoat does not read it. Does anyone have a solution to this? I'd rather not have to buy a 2nd copy of affinity photo.
  11. Alright, I will see if I can keep hardware acceleration off for the time being, I do hope the developers + staff looks at this + fixes it however.
  12. This is not an easy issue to test as it does not occur frequently, and I do not know how to necessarily make it happen.
  13. Hello, I use Affinity Photo for digital painting primarily. I have noticed this happen several times; when I am painting and switching between the brush, eraser, and smudge tools (+ performing operations with those tools), a square hole will sometimes appear on the screen. This square hole can be painted over, but it cannot be undo'd, and restarting the program does not get rid of the hole. This is a highly problematic issue, as it can ruin your image and progress you've made.
  14. That's interesting how a select number of the brushes are causing the issues; I wonder why that is & if this is something that can be resolved.
