  1. Gentlemen of Affinity perhaps you do not realize that as long as you do not update the possibility of being able to assign overprinting to tracks and fills ALSO TO CYMK COLORS, the use of Designer and Publisher is almost useless for offset use !. Please copy Illustrator and Indesign it's simple!
  2. Exact! it should be like in AI in the "Aspect" tab with the overprint function for fill and trace. I wonder: is it so difficult to copy the basic functions present in Illustrator? Being a drawing software it is absurd that the distort and alter function is missing!
  3. You are right! It is an essential function for printing. As it would be essential to have the possibility of assigning the overprint also to fillets or fillings with selection colors. For example, I should be able to assign overprinting to black (selection) threads when they overlap a light yellow type so that they do not pierce the underlying color.
  4. I purchased Affinity Designer to replace Illustrator but I noticed that the overprinting management, in my opinion, is better than AI, because it allows to overprint fillets and fillings in a more refined way also inside the process colors. (see attached jpg). Furthermore, the "color selection preview" control tab would be very useful for checking the selection and plates before exporting the pdfs for printing. Because of these shortcomings I have not yet replaced the use of AI with AD and I hope that these functions can be inserted in the next software updates so as to allow me to permanently switch to Affinity Designer permanently. Thanks for your attention. Greetings from Lucio
