Of course I’ve zoomed in extremely close, but the result is imprecise. I want the node to be exactly at the intersection. This is a fairly common behavior when creating illustrations.

While it’s nice to be able to create shared styles (like stroke width), how do I edit ones that are created?

Unfortunately this isn't currently possible, I'll move this thread to our Feature Requests section of the forums for our devs to consider adding in the future!

Being able to extend paths based on the same curvature would be a-mazing. (Something like Astute Graphic’s Vector Scribe > Path Extend Tool here: http://astutegraphics.com/software/vectorscribe/)

So, what’s the different between Smooth & Smart curves? I’ve played around and can’t figure it out.

I’ll cast my vote for this, too. Current pen tools do feel like they’re from 1987.

As Adobe has decided to make the import screen in Lightroom suitable for Instagram users, I have concerns wether Lightroom should be replaced in the future. Adobe makes this concerns even bigger by publishing buggy apps too early which ruin lives of professionals. 
 
Last year, Serif came out with this Affinity-suite and I have high hopes that they will release a Lightroom alternative. I am serious about that, since Capture One, well, does not work for me. 
But if you do, make sure that people can transfer 100k photos with any adjustments non-destructively. 
 
I don't know if you have plans for this, or if you have resources for this. But if you have, well, I would be the first to buy.
 
Adobe is going for Instagram users with all their iOS-photoshop-mix-fix crap, which is not what professionals want. I know that one day, I will enjoy Affinity Designer on my iPad without compromises.
And I hope you guys could rescue the professional photography business. 
 
I know this post has not the right spot in the forum, since everything is about Designer or Photo. But I just want to post this to see wether this could be the future of photography.

Exactly! A-to-B paths have always been a strange limitation to me, especially when drawing maps where you want to join multiple paths to a single point. Interestingly, AI's Mesh Tool is something of an in between of the two methods.
 
Matt, I hope they won't patent it. (And can they? Isn't it essentially a 2D representation of multiple lines connecting to a node in all 3D software?) Open source is the future!  :)

I also came here to post that this should be added to Designer!

As a workaround, you could zoom in super far (100,000%) and add a point to both curves and then snap one point to the other.
(Crabtrem touched on this situation above.)
One line would change (super) slightly..... at that zoom will it really matter?
And, of course, you would have two new nodes, but they would be perfectly coincident.
 
Granted this isn't a great solution if you have to do dozens and dozens. But for a couple here and there.....

Snap to intersections wasn't implemented yet, so there's no way to detect the intersection point precisely.
This is coming in a future update.
