  2. Hey there, I simply cannot import any brush to Affinity Designer. Neither my own nor bought ones from the shop. Steps: Close any Affinity program, but Designer Brushes > Import brush Select brush file(s) - .abr / .afbrush Open Dialog appears that they are imported None appear in Designer, but in Photo as often as I import any I also tried to reset brushes first before importing, as stated here As this is not the "exact" same problem as in this other thread, I'm opening this one. Hope that is fine... I don't know if importing ever worked for my Designer, as this is the first time I'm trying to import brushes here. System: Windows 10 Affinity Designer 2.1.0 All Affinity products installed via MSI installer All programs having read/write access If you need any more detail, please let me know

Okay, after some break I re-tried this: Create any new document Embed the corrupted file Edit the embedded file by double-clicking the icon in the layer window (this will open in a new window) Create another new document, which meets the same layout settings (resolution, DPI, color) Drag and drop all layers from the editing embedded doc to the new one Save This fixed the problem for me. Probably I was lucky, but when you read this by having the same problem, you might give this a shot. I had to realign my pack of layers and lost my snapshots, but whatever, my entire work is back again.

  6. Hey there, today my affinity photo has crashed, either due or right after saving and I cannot re-open it anymore. And due to the error message window blocking any other input, I cannot save the last working layers (if any is corrupted - doesn't look like that on this view) or load one of the docs snapshots... It is said that the doc is corrupted and must be closed. Of course my backup system was not working either at this time and so I feel pretty helpless right now. As I've read in the other threads there is a chance that some content or even the entire file can be restored, so that's why I'd like to ask how to actually do that, please? Or is this limited to the devs?

  8. Well, this topic is more over 3 years old now. I'm not surprised that people are still trying to find answers. As far as I know, there never was any response nor reaction from official site and probably never will be. I guess the very most of us gave up on this "already".   12. Alright, the problem (in my case) was the Beta Client. Uninstalling, running CCleaner and deleting the proper files and folders in %AppData% as well as in ProgramData fixed it and I could enter my serial in installation process of the normal client. Thank you all!
  13. Hello together, I just bought Affinity Photo from Serif site on today's black sale. By now my trial I installed before is still running until 2nd of December. How the heck can I change my license to full product, please, without the need of waiting?
