Also try exploring the Appearance Panel to add multiple strokes to a shape without the need to Expand Stroke at all.

Hi, ever since the upgrade to 1.8 I have had this problem amongst others where I get distortion when I try to expand the stroke on a curve. I have tried it with the beta upgrade but that hasn't helped. I'm using Windows 10 Home. Version 10.018362. Build 18362
