Preserving Spot Colors and Document Swatch Pallete From Illustrator

Hello,
The company I work for is testing out Designer and Photo to replace Illustrator and Photoshop for some of the workflows. We have always been as color accurate as possible and need to continue using the exact same colors from Illustrator. The AI files we receive have very specific spot colors and document swatch palettes. Is there a way to preserve the spot colors from Illustrator as well as have all of the document swatches transfer over to Designer?
