When will Affinity Designer get an object-distort tool, a perspective tool, a fisheye too or an inset/outset path tool? These are basic features for doing creative work, especially with display text (see attached jpg). 
 
As it is, if I need to do anything like this I have to use free open-source apps like Inkscape or NeoDraw (part of the NeoOffice suite), both of which are harder to use but do way more than Affinity Designer.

I just tested the new beta. I opened one of the files that was causing the problem and the issue has disappeared. Now I can expand group layers without Afinity crashing.

It always happens regardless of the type or size of the document.
I'm working  with win 10 PC and latest Affinity Photo beta.

The latest Beta of Affinity Designer crashes when I try and expand a nested layer within the layers panel. This problem isn't present in the previous beta (so I downgraded).

The program closes without warning when, in layers panel:
I try to nest one layer into another and/or  I click to expand the layer to show its contents.

This is definitely not one of the most important features, but as a GREP-engine is already implemented: may we hope for something like GREP-Styles?
This is a feature I don’t use on a daily basis, but it is something I’m very very glad to have from time to time.

What do you have in mind as 'anything'?
I'd appreciate GREP in text styles.
Since it exists in Find & Replace, may it be that 'just' UI design is missing rather than programming?

I was wondering if within Affinity Designer is there a "Free transform tool" to allow perspective distort with shapes, this is something that can be done within illustrator where you can take two points and can move them together or further apart with equal distance like the example below.
 
You can kinda do this with the "Corner" tool set to straight but this is set to only one angle when perspective distort can change the angle.

Would like to be able to export/save my symbols and store them in a user category, like with brushes, we can create our own category (library) and add to them and it would live in the app.

Collapse ALL layers would be great.
A simple keyboard modifier when clicking would be nice.

In my opinion Shape Builder Tool is very necessary. I can't switch to Affinity Designer from Illustrator completely just because of this one missing tool. I've seen post back from 2015 of people asking for this tool, why 4 years later this still isn't a thing? I'm very frustrated...

I bought a Wacom CTL400 but I can't use it in Affinity Photo. After opening Affnity after a few minutes the table stops working. I have to close and reopen Affinty Photo to work again. It only happens on the Affinity program.
Use windows 10. Windows and Wacom drive are up to date.

It's been over 3 years since last response to this question. can we please get a response? This is a very important feature. literally the only one that keeps me using Illustrator over Designer. Is it actually going to be added? is it being held back to be sold in Designer 2.0? 

+1 for the blend tool

I really need something similar to Illustrator's "Blend" tool where you can have 2 vector options, make a blend, and they set the number of steps and some other properties used to create the individual steps in-between.
 
I don't see anything like this in Affinity Designer, am I just missing something?
