  1. Thank you very much, this works. Now comes the next step. I have a ready graphic. This is a rectangle with wavy sides. Now I can select the inside with the magic wand. This is now the shape I want to have transparent, i.e. the wavy rectangle should now shine through. If I do this with Geometry->Subtract then always the straight rectangle becomes transparent, but not the wavy shape. I hope it is somewhat understandable what I mean Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  2. Hello everyone, I'm getting desperate with what is probably a very very simple problem. It doesn't matter if it's with Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo: First, I create a new transparent layer. Then I create a white layer and drag a box onto it. This box should now be transparent, i.e. show through to the transparent layer, so that an image in the background "shows through" in the box. Also, if I export the image as a png. How can I do this? Thanks in advance! Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  3. Hi, sorry for my bad english. I have drawn a curve. Within this curve I would like to fill in a color. For this I take the "magic wand" and mark the inner. the marking is then already quite good, but jagged. As in the first picture. With the function "edge sharpness" I would like to refine the selection. While adjusting and as long as the dialog is open, this works fine. See the second image. If I then click on "Apply" in the dialog, the adjustment is not applied and the selection is again jagged as in the first image. What am I doing wrong? Is there another way to select and fill the interior exactly along the black rank? I hope I was able to express my request understandably
  4. But...one more question. The exported artwork as .png is not transparent.... What can in do? Best Regards.
  5. Hello dear ones. I use Affinity Photo and Designer. I downloaded an .eps file from a portal for royalty free images. In this file there are 8 different "stickers" with one page turned over, so with drop shadows. Only one of them I want to export as png. The problem is that I do not know how. In this file there are 1000 layers, one for each curve. It is not possible to select a sticker completely with all layers, i.e. to apply it with the selection tool. And to select and mark the 50 layers for this sticker is impossible. So how do I proceed? Which of the two programs is better suited for this? How do I select the one sticker with all its layers for export? Thank you very much in advance.
  6. Hello, Dan, thank you very much. I have solved the "problem" in the meantime. It's the topic with the masks, that's how I managed it Thanks a lot!
  7. Hello dear Forum. I have created a simple example and demonstrate my question. I have two layers: One green and one red. Both are on their own layer. The red layer is above the green layer. Now I insert a picture. The image is also a separate layer, between the green and the red layer. If I now export these two layers as png and insert the image, it is logically above both layers. But it should be like this: The layers are exported and the upper third of the red layer should be transparent so that the image is between the two layers. I have an image as an example in the appendix. The white bar should show that the image is cut off at this point, so that the red layer is above it. I hope you understand what I mean. How can you do something like that?
