  1. I've spent an hour on this already and so hope someone can help. My searches say to add artboards to an existing document I shoud use the artboard tool. I found a picture of the tool so know what I am looking for, but where actually is it? I've tried customising the toolbar and looked in all the options but I can't find an artboard toolbar. another suggestions was file, new... but here I only seem to have the option to create a new document, not to create an artboard in an existing document. I guess I'm missing something obvious, but I've done my best to figure it out - please help.
  2. That's great - thanks for your reply. I just thought there might be a quick layer like in photo but that's easy enough.
  3. Pretty naive question but I can't figure it out. In Affinity Photo I can just press layer from the options and press fill layer. In designer that option isn't there. I can add a fill layer but then I can't change its colour. Best wishes, Lee
  4. Is there an alternative to text on a curve to shape already existing text, or shape an existing image? I applied various colour changes to the text and am not sure i can start again. I tried saving the word as text and as a png hoping i could then convert it to curves but it doesn't work - the nodes are applied to the rectangle around the text rather than the letters themselves. this seems like something people would generally want to do but I can't figure out how to do it.
  5. I want to work with this kind of file. the checker background suggests it should be transparent but if i export then it is still there. Is it possible to do this in Affinity Designer? Best wishes, Lee
