Tried LibeOffice now. And pasted as Rich Text and it fails do a degree. I upladed a picture of a example of decoding a verse from my APub file. I mean i have seen that line get longer at times in Word (not affinity as i recall) so i have no clue of how it works.

It's interesting on what you say there Wosven. Can you give me a short example ? - Like a line as this one using what you prefer. (Not 100% sure what you mean with "longer one, using regular expressions" don't know how to get a longer one.)

My book is very unique since it deals With Numerical Bible codes. There are very very few books that has info like that. So i kind of have to break the rules many times in my book. I Explore New Territory you might say. It requires unique ways.

Well that is too bad because i have made a lot of work using that. And i need that Space. Since using bullet-points takes more Space. It also goes alot faster for me using this symbol "-" for Points. My book will have thousands of them. And my brain and fingers is wired to use it now.

Thank you for the info Walt.farrell. Do you have any suggestion of a good RTF/Rich Text Format editor than can be used here ? Tired to find it in Word 2016 to no success. It saves a Incredible amount of time using that as a bridge to copy from Your Affinity book/Project into websites.

Tried with the calibri font also now so i don't think font's has anything to do with the problem.

I write this with Arial font in APublisher with the Text tool: "- bla bla bla - bla bla bla - bla bla bla - bla bla bla - bla bla bla" probably with what you call "real text" not really sure because i am not so technically updated here. But i wrote the "-" symbols using my keyboard. And i paste this in Word 2016 and get this: "- bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla" 4 lines misses the "-" symbol. And It was never ment to be a generated list, just a simple copy and paste.

Not sure but i will share this as it will save people alot of time if it's implemented. And there are actually two bugs here: 1. That the information when copied to the website will not have line breaks or paragraph breaks making the text go into one continiues flow. 2. That all information did not get copied from Publisher to Word. It goes in 1 line, and not 5 lines like above. This goes for when you copy info from Publisher to a websitebuilder/coding program in general. Temporary fix for problem nr 1: Just copy the text into Microsoft Word 2016 (not tested 2019) and it will show with 5 lines when you copy and paste from Word to websitebuilder/coding program. When you search for how many times a word is found it does not give you the number of times it is found. You just see a list of referances. So if you guys could display a number of how many hits you find, then it would be a minor improvement. This can have uses for people who deals with in-dept bible study and other kind's of textual critisism.

I am doing a very important book that i am quite passionate about. And it involves alot of text colouring, images, mathematics, Hebrew & Greek words. So it is a lot of work. Now since Publisher is so fresh and only been out since summer, i want to know if i should do the book in 1 file or seperate them into Chapters? I really want it in 1 file for different reasons but i don't know if i should wait for 1.8 before doing that. If anyone has some wisdom here then let me know.

Yes a transform shortcut would be very nice. I really miss the oppertunity to hit F6 to increase size of a object by 1% or 5%. It would be wonderful to increase length and width also with a shortcut.

Hmmm i can work around this though so i will just see if this goes away when the next patch comes. If not then i will reinstall Windows & if the problem persists then i will be back and write here.

File with examples of the problem is shared. And you might want to stop the automatic color change to black if you change a character style to another character style which does not have a specified colour in it's settings. The colour should not be changed in this case.

This is one of those cases where you are uncertain if there is a problem or if it's you who does not understand. But i have tried and i think it's a bug, or maybe a unwise decision from your side. So i have made several character styles that colours & changes font styles. My yellow character stye is configured to only change font to Minion Pro & yellow color. My gray character style is configured to only change to gray color & no font change. - The problem here is if i change the character style from yellow to gray the font becomes Arial. This occures no matter what color you pick in this regard; and this happends in Designer also. I could just pick Minion Pro on gray to solve this problem but let's say you are working with several character styles (which i do). Then this becomes unproductive. Instead of making it automatically go to Arial font; let it not change the font. i use the 17.3.481 version I Attached a video Clip & you can end it at 3.20, since i tried to do this in Photo also but i realized that there were no character styles there.
