  1. Like several forum members before me, I am looking for a way to use Affinity software (in my case: Designer) at work. The consensus so far seems to be that this is (at the very least) a gray area, at least when it comes to using the same license at home and at work. The way I understand it, the problem is section 3 (i) of the license agreement which allows me to "download, install, use and run for personal use, one (1) copy of the Serif Software directly on each computer running Microsoft Windows (“Windows Computer”) that you personally own or control" (emphasis mine). Now, suppose I were to buy a second license, again as a private individual and not a business customer, for exclusive use on the computer provided by my employer. Unfortunately, it seems to me that even this cannot solve the problem, because I am still installing the software on a device that I neither own nor have full control over. To be clear, I am indeed ready to pull the trigger on a separate license for my work machine, but I would like some sort of official statement to be sure I am not wasting my money. (Please note that ordering through my employer is not an option.) Thanks!
