Right you are. Tried Separated Mode and had the same results as stated above.

The Adjustment panel is freely movable around the screen. If this is what you mean by Separated Mode.

Studio, Adjustment.  9 times out of 10 a normal click of the mouse has no effect when selecting a preset. Multiple clicks also doesn't work. As close as I can get to making it work is a very deliberate, slow click of the mouse button. Even that doesn't work a good 50% of the time.     So far I'm having no other issues like this in 1.86.

Clicking presets in the new Affinity Photo 1.86 is not working.

I never had this issue with 1.84.
