Nevermind. I just noticed you can preserve ratio by holding right button while you are dragging.

Nevermind, the crash was once again caused by RivaTuner Statistic Server. If I add designer.exe to its list and change "Application detection level" to None, I can't get Designer to crash. Now that crashing is sorted out, the snapping isn't that bad and using Alt-key is enough to avoid it.

Scale undocked view to 100% and resize window so that it would work as preview thumbnail Try to edit curve's nodes in main view Not only snapping is very clunky, but it most likely also crash the program. If you make bigger image, but zoom the undocked second view tiny <100%, program is less likely to crash but snapping bug is still present. Workaround is to disable snapping. sausage.afdesign
