  1. Hi I realize that, I am more than happy to update the functions file, what I can't find are the mime types. For example for Photoshop the mime type code required would be:- $mime_types['psd'] = 'image/vnd.adobe.photoshop'; I tried to use an online mime checker, it gave me application/octet-stream I don't think that is right. what I am having trouble finding is the bit after the $mime_types['afphoto'] = 'image/ I will have a look for that plugin, maybe it can find it:-) thanks.
  2. Hi, I was looking to enable a Wordpress site to allow upload of Affinity files, I can't seem to find the Affinity mime types in the usual place. Does anyone know them?
  3. S.M.A.R.T tests are clear. I was tending to rule out wireless as this is the only app I get issues with. Saying that I am seriously considering getting out one of those long wiggly things we used to use. Cant remember what they are called at the mo. Sure I have several dozen somewhere. I am thinking AFP is a possibility.
  4. Ben, I did try to upload some files but the upload failed. Oktopus + Ben, Speed is not an issue very fast and I had been working this way for some time. Including when Photo was in beta. More recently I have been seeing the corruption turn up. One difference I am using SMB shares as Apple recommended this over AFP to fix some other permissions issues we were getting. Could the switch from AFP to SMB be connected to this? I can create a dozen files no problem and work on them for days. Then suddenly corruptions. I am beginning to look into working practice here. Wondering if leaving files open over night during back-up or possibly data scrubbing could be an issue. I have a good back-up process so I have not really lost an work. More little time and inconvenience. Thanks all for help up till now.
  5. Bloody hell, thats what I call customer support! I am using a Synology DS1513+ with all the latest updates. Using SMB2/3 shares. Largely over a wireless connection. I have just started using Affinity Designer from the same box. I will let you know if this is an issue specific to Photo or if it affects both applications. Thanks Tony.
  6. Thanks for that, I suspected so, I am already running some tests doing local files. So far so good. I guess one of the reasons I see this issue with AFP files is the size of them. Most app files I work with are in K, many os these AFP files are in the hundreds of Mb.
  7. Is anyone else experience multiple corrupt Affinity Photo files. After creating 7 separate files yesterday, 3 will not opening the app saying the files are corrupt. This is the worst in a long string of corrupt files. I seem to be unable to upload files as the upload fails. I am running OSX 10.11.1 AP 1.4 Working to a Synology NAS. The finder preview looks fine and includes the latest changes but I cannot open the file. This is the only app I am having corrupt file issues with.
