Sorry for the lack of updates; life has been a little hectic. I reset studio, and as you can see, the layer panel in the pixel persona is all " crazy." It began before the reset in vector perona as well.

When I switch from the vector to the raster side in Affinity to use any of the functions, multiple empty layers appear. I can't x them out; they're stuck. I upgraded Affinity, restarted my computer, and then restarted Affinity. Maybe

When I group my elements together they all become one of the same color. As I have mentioned in a nother topic, my eraser, and dodge tools do not work either. Can I go back to my old version?

The recoloring is not working since the upgrade. Instead of changing the color of a specific image, the entire document changes color. It was working perfectly fine before.

My dodge, burn tool, and eraser is not working on my my Mac desktop/ OS Catalina. AD 1.9 I have to switch to AP in order to use them.

Thank you. I have found the reason, lol. You had this little tag in the old version that you knew your image is ready to be placed. In the new version, you can just click, and it gets placed into your document. I just sat here waiting for the little tag to appear, and it never did. Thank you for your quick response. And sorry for the panic.

HELP!!! I upgraded Affinity Photo and designer, and I cannot place any of my images into my documents. If I'm lucky, an image appears after 3 minutes. I need my designer programs for my business. Upgrades always make me nervous for this reason. Can I go back to my last version? MacBook Pro /Catalina OS

Hi, I just watched a tutorial on PS to make evenly spaced out lines clicking one button. I'm trying to create a stationary and that would save a lot of time. I couldn't find the function on AP or AD. I'm attaching a screenshot from the PS tutorial. I tried to use the alignment function but it didn't work. Thank you.

Thanks, Walt. Here is the questions, who is responsible for the program not working? Is there a fix, do other users have the same problem? I'm pretty desperate at this point, I have orders and need the program. If I purchase AD again as an App do I have the same issues? Does the App works?

I just wanted to use my old laptop and it's crashing there as well. I wanted to create a 12x12 design the moment I clicked add to presets it crashed. I'm totally at loss. AD is my business and I cannot create my logo for my customer

Is there a way to download AD form the app store instead of the website? Is Catalina causing any of these problems by any chance? And last, if I would reset anything do I lose all my designs? Thank you.

I use the glyph browser all the time but I did not use it when I was creating the logo. I think the last thing I did was looking for a font I like and then it crashed. I have hundreds of custom installed fonts but didn't get to the fonts yet in this logo yet since AD crashed. I never have any crashing problems using AD using my older OS on my other computer? I purchased AD in the store. Unfortunately, I never knew I could use it in the App store Thank you for your help.

When I make my logos smaller the fonts are getting thicker ( zooming in ) They only stay the same if I change them to raster images. Is there a way to keep the fonts the way they look without changing and keep them as a vector image? Thank you

Dankeschoen!!!! I wish my portrait designer would work as a vector. It would be so much easier. But I'm glad at least it works with the pixels otherwise I would have had to keep paying for Adobe.

So, I guess there is no faster way to to do that? It could be very time consuming for me since I have a lot of clothing items. But I'm glad at least there is an option to do that at all. The creator of the portrait people is using PS and Ai. I still have PS and Ai until February but I'm not really using them anymore. Where can I purchase afstyles or can I create them myself?

I was wondering about the different names of the styles. I'm completely new to AD I used Ai and Pixelmator before. Why do the styles have a different name? Do you have to purchase them? I guess my own patterns don't work in AD? And thank you for the fabric styles, I just downloaded them!! I didn't realize I could.

I tried to figure out how to load a pattern into styles, didn't work for me. I learn best watching tutorials. The vectorizer all wanted money...I'm looking into it more later.
