Ok, I give up. Searched a solution but no success: I cannot make the mask layer receive my brushstrokes. Tried several suggestions (opacity, blendmodes, color, etc.). Trying to use the patch tool, but perhaps I've missed the concept. When I want to"catch" a particular part to insert strange coloured artifacts appear in the inserted image (like false light in old school film) and it looks overall fluffy. How do I avoid this? Thank you so much: A very cool finnish product I didn't know of!:) I'll certainly run a trial on this interesting piece of software. It works appearently as a breeze with a very helpful and welcoming interface. I'm familiar with Inkscape and AI. Do you have an opinion on what you prefer in AD vs. VectorStyler? I understand. Eager to follow your kind suggestion -- and hoping to have understood the core idea appearently without a thorough read -- I rushed to "Feature Requests & Suggestions" section to accomplish my quest 😉

I have purchased Designer for my PC and consider a copy for my Mac too but are a bit puzzled: I understand that these features are NOT available in AD hence kindly post this request: 1. Mesh Distort Tool and Warp (like in Inkscape and Illustrator) 2. Magnetic/sculpting mode (like in Inkscape and Illustrator) 3. The AD "Stroke Pressure" option is pretty useless: A tool like Stroke Width Tool in AD where you can manipulate parts of the stroke directly (like in Inkscape and Illustrator) 4. A decent Graph Tool like in AI 5. A Blend Tool like in AI (or Interpolate in Inkscape)
