Been encountering this issue for a while. Looked online and everyone else who posted about it hasn't received an adequate answer. When I export a JPG from an artboard in Publisher (Designer using Studio Link) I occasionally get a 16-pixel-thick border that wasn't there prior to exporting (image attached). The position and size of the artboard is in whole pixels, there are no margins set, and there are no slices because it's Publisher and there is no export persona. This behavior didn't start until the last year or so. I can do a workaround by putting everything into an empty rectangle the size of the artboard and exporting just the rectangle. Insight into what's causing this and whether or not it can be resolved greatly appreciated.

How is this in any way an answer to my question? -
Affinity affiliate scheme
Cyan Cooper replied to robcubbon's topic in Customer Service, Accounts and Purchasing
Our company helps YouTube channels grow, and we've created our own YouTube presence that teaches people how to do it themselves. One of the #1 things people ask about is creating thumbnails, and we've been using Affinity to create thumbnails for years. We want to recommend Affinity Photo in our thumbnail tutorials, and provide affiliate links for the software. Is there still no affiliate program? -
Add Background Color to Page

There's no way to change the page default color? You have to use rectangles? -
I'm getting this issue as well. The REALLY messed up thing is that only one of the pages in the Publisher document has this behavior. Attached are screenshots. The font is Montserrat, and it displays fine inside of Publisher but not in PDF format. Again, this is only for one page of the Publisher document, the OTHER page of the Publisher document displays Montserrat in PDF format just fine. This behavior has been going on for a while, any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

I have this issue too! New 2019 iMac: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019), 3.7 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5, 40 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB It can run After Effects and Final Cut Pro no problem, but the second I start doing things in Affinity Publisher activity monitor shows the software taking 500%+ of CPU. As you can see in the image, the composition I'm working on isn't exactly complex, and every single element was created in Publisher (nothing imported from Photoshop). Any help on this is much appreciated. We've built our business on Affinity products—which work fine on our laptops—but if we can't use them on an iMac without the computer seizing up then we'll have to figure something else out.

I just found this thread after experiencing the same thing for months. I had two apps (Unclutter and Paste) that had to blacklist Affinity before the crashing stopped. Good to know what it was, now the hair won't stand up on the back of my neck every time I hit command + C!

Hey guys, Any ETC for this? Emojis are supported in every other similar program, even more basic ones. They're also a staple of communication today. Cheers, Cyan -
when is Affinity After Effects coming!
Cyan Cooper replied to C.biz's topic in Older Feedback & Suggestion Posts
Hey guys! Affinity crew, congratulations on winning the 2019 app of the year from Apple! Publisher is an incredible achievement, you guys rock! It's been about three years since this discussion of "Affinity After Effects"... any update on whether or not this is a possibility? Of all the creative apps you could make, I think this one would see new clients flocking to you in droves. Cheers, Cyan
