I'm a new user, and really exited about playing with the features. One problem I am constantly trying to solve is how to copy over text from a raster format, and tracing over it, or drawing new text with the pen tool. But a problem I have is that my text always seems amateurish, because I have problems constraining the height of the text so that each line of text is capped in height and aligned with the neighbors. Is there some kind of grid or snap feature I can use to force constraining (like between two rule lines or grids)? Couldn't find anything on this, but not sure of the terminology.
Also, if there are any suggestions on a tool that can trace over raster files and create fonts, that would be great. Or somehow create true type from affinity hand drawn text. I have the iFontMaker app, and like it, but it does not have any tracing feature that I am aware of.
