Try to install fr_BE as described here: Scroll down to Dan C, Posted 17 October, «Known Issues». When I installed de-CH according to this instruction, it showed in Affinity as Language in the Characters panel, and I could change the text or frames to Deutsch (Deutschland). That should be possible with French, too.

Ich bin’s nochmal. Habe nun das Schweizerdeutsch-Wörterbuch installiert – und tatsächlich ist die Seitennumnmerierung auf den Masterseiten in dieser Sprache eingestellt gewesen, wie erst jetzt angezeigt wurde. Keine Ahnung, warum das so war. Jedenfalls konnte ich nun da alles auf Deutsch (Deutschland) ändern.

Nun ist es aber so, dass ich auch in WORD stets die Deutsch (Deutschland) eingestellt habe und auch eine entsprechende Tastatur benutze. Auch in der Registerkarte ‹Überprüfen› von WORD ist Deutsch (Deutschland) eingestellt. Daher verstehe ich nicht, wie das Schweizerdeutsch da bei Affinity hineinkommen kann. Weil ich in der Schweiz wohne und das irgendwie registriert wird? Das wäre seltsam. In Publisher habe ich ohnehin schon alles im Dropdown-Menü „Zeichen“ > „Sprache“ auf Deutsch (Deutschland) eingestellt. Was ich aber sehe: Dass die Fehlermeldungen «Fehlendes Wörterbuch für Sprache (de-CH)» sich alle nur noch auf die Masterseite (M) beziehen – Seitenzahlen etc., obwohl auch hier alles auf Deutsch (Deutschland) eingestellt ist.

Guten Tag Ich habe Word-Dokumente in Publisher 2 importiert, und obwohl ich in WORD Deutsch (Deutschland) eingestellt habe, erhalte ich in Publisher zahllose Fehlermeldungen «Fehlendes Wörterbuch für Sprache (de-CH). Ich arbeite zwar in der Schweiz, will aber gar nicht das Schweizer-Deutsche Wörterbuch, und weiß nicht, wie ich dies generell korrigieren kann. Wenn ich im Panel «Zeichen» «Deutsch» für einen der angegebene Fehle wähle, ändert sich nichts. Was tun?

Hi Before updating on Publisher 1.9 I could drag and drop text. This doesn’t work anymore. If I try e.g. to drag a word to another place in the sentence, it simply disappears. I’m using MacOS Big Sur 11.6.5.

I don’t thin so, because the programm closes so fast without any warning. I’m doing something and in the next moment it’s gone.

Hi, Publisher 1.9.2 (on Mac OS Catalina) keeps crashing unexpectedly as 1.9.1 before, but even worse. Sometimes while opening the document, sometimes while changing textstiles or inserting a non-breaking space or whatever. Can’t see a specific action that produces the crash. This is quite annoying, as it almost never happened in previous versions, and as far as I see, there is no solution in the forum, although I am not the only one having this problem. Hello. I’m way in a book layout with Affinity Publisher. All textframes have the same size and are connected. Now I want to change the frames (to add another line per page). How is it possible to change the frames on all pages together? The only solution I’ve found was to delete the pages after the ones with the new frame size and then insert the rest of the text again so that the necessary pages were automatically generated with the new textframe size. But is there a more simple method?

Hallo, ich habe automatische Silbentrennung für mein Dokument eingestellt; aber die Einstellung fällt immer wieder heraus. Das Häkchen für die Funktion «Automatische Silbentrennung» fehlt immer wieder, wenn ich einen neuen Textabschnitt bearbeite, obwohl sie in den Masterseiten aktiviert ist.
