  1. I am working on macos only. I usually transfer the files from my desktop to my laptop using a APFS network disk (QNAP NAS). It happened also with a USB drive, but I can not find it now so I am unsure about the filesystem (probably FAT32). Thank you for your help.
  2. Hello, I am facing a serious problem: every time I copy my work from my desktop (x86) to my macbook pro (M1), using a USB pen or a network storage, my work gets corrupted. The same happens in the other direction. Publisher acutally opens the file, but after a little time a popup opens and forces me to close the file. I am attaching a broken file that worked on my desktop (x86) and does not open on my laptop (M1). SometimesI can overcome the problem importing the pages in a new document, but this is really a poor workaround. I hope you can help me figure out if I am doing something wrong or eventually fix this problem. Thank you for your help! Lorenzo PS: Please delete the attached file once you examined the problem. 3. Hello @MEB, is there any update about this issue? This bug affects my working and, since my publications contains thousands of images, it's really impossible for me to correct them manually. I have also tried the current beta but the problem persists. Thank you for your help. Lorenzo
  4. I imagined something similar. Unfortunately the suggested solution does not work for me: this is just 1 image of about 1'800, imported automatically from a PDF generated from a webpage. It's the first time I came across this error, I think it was not present in previous version.
  5. Hello, When I export a publication in PDF, some images are flipped. Please see the attached sample. This happens also on the Windows version. I am using version 1.10.1 The problem does not appear when the PDF is flattened. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you, Lorenzo test.afpub test.pdf
  6. Hello MEB, Sorry for my VERY LATE reply. I am using a mouse, at the problem is still present on 1.8.3. I a click too quickly or simply moving the mouse, 90% of the time the click is not recevied (I think a drag event is initiated). Thank you, Lorenzo
  7. SHIFT + click to add to selection would have been more intuitive for ex Photoshop users (like me). In any case, CTRL+click works. My suggestion is that you should advertise this difference: I have been looking for it for months and only now I found this post Thank you!
  8. When click on the recorded macro in the library, most of the times the click is not received and the macro is dragged around. I think this is due to the fact that the sensitivity to "drag event" is too high. Thank you for investigating this annoying issue.
  9. Hello, This macro crashes the app everytime it is executed. Lorenzo remove background.afmacro
  10. Thank you for your reply. I agree that there is no need to see the previews.
  11. Hello, In my workflow I need to apply filters to 2'000+ images. The Batch Job asks me to select the files, and generates thumbnails. This step is extremely slow: the app hangs for minutes and is irresponsive. I think it's because it's generating previews of the images, something that is not really needed. A simple folder select would be more practical and faster (similar to Photoshop batch processing). Lorenzo
  12. Hello, When I import this PDF (generated with InDesign), the embedded images get a square border around them. This happens also on macOS. Thank you, Lorenzo 0_copertina A5.pdf
  13. When I run this macro, the app crashes every time. I have attached also a test image. Thank you! refine crash.afmacro
  14. +1 for this option, I am really missing it from Photoshop
  15. I am actually considering to switch from InDesign+Photoshop to Affinity Publisher+Photo. With InDesign, my workflow heavily depends on XML import. Is there a way to import XML data in a document like in InDesign?
