Hi @Ray Weeks and Welcome to the Forums,
Could you try disabling openCL and see that resolves your crashing issue?
@willcarterCan you also try the same and let me know the results.
Yeah, that seems to have solved the issue.

I'm also experiencing some severe stability issues with Photo 1.10 that weren't there in 1.9. Designer and Publisher seem to also be fine as far as I can tell, though I haven't used Designer much since 1.10, so I'm not 100% sure on that one.
I've specifically experienced severe slow-downs when resizing/resampling images and merging multiple layers, to the point where it makes the music I'm listening to start to stutter, which never happened before 1.10 (I'm on a gaming computer, so I don't think hardware resources are the problem). Also one time when I was trying to work with several layers to stitch together multiple images, the drag-to-move function on the move tool just stopped working altogether and I had to restart Photo. I'm considering trying to roll back to 1.9 for Photo until the next update or something.

The Shadows/Highlights filter has the "Shadow Range" and "Highlight Range" sliders, which are really useful and powerful, but the Shadows/Highlights adjustment and the Shadows/Highlights section of the Develop persona do not have these sliders. I would love to have access to those sliders in both of those other places, as I think they are very limited in their usefulness without the range sliders. I know you can use the blend options in the adjustment version to effectively do the same thing, but I think it would be nice and way more learner-friendly to just have a simple slider too.

Make the HEX color input available on all types of colors

I would like to second this.
Being able to copy/paste hex codes from any of the color selection dialogues would be super helpful. I know there are other ways of accomplishing the same thing, but copy/pasting a hex code is the simplest and most intuitive way when you just need to match a color quickly. Plus it'd be nice to only have one RGB option, since "RGB hex" would be unnecessary.
