Hi, sorry for late response. I have done everything you did: First we have the transparency as seen to the right Then, in the export menu The end result: without transparency Redoing the steps but exporting WITH background: The transparency is present. I am running Windows 10, Affinity version 1.7.1.404

I am working on a project where some parts have an opacity of 50%. When I export the whole document as a PNG everything is fine. However, exporting selection without background results in no transparency at all. Exporting as PDF yields the same result. In another project with just a rectangle and a circle, the transparency is preserved, so this feels like a user error but I do not know how to fix this. I have attached the project file. Thanks!
