I'm a serious amateur who outgrew Photoshop Elements when I found AP this month. Love it! I'm self taught using online videos and working my way through the bible AP instruction book using AP on my large MSI (with advanced graphics) laptop. I'm trying to learn advanced photo editing and AP at the same time. It's really hard because the library of available books are all geared towards PS CC or Lightroom. Would be so much easier to learn advanced photo editing with AP from someone who knows and uses AP. I do use layers but not extensively. Still trying to figure out the best way to edit portraits and landscapes using my new AP tools including curves. I also shoot my oil paintings (so the color rendering on prints needs to be perfect), and I'm intrigued with concept art. The other issue is trying to figure out how to get pro quality prints. Do I need to convert to CMYK before sending to Pro DPI? I have a Sony A7R ii. Perhaps there is an online class or online tutor who could help? I'm in the Denver area. Thank you!
