  1. Thank you! I was missing the part of making it a key object by clicking alt.
  2. Using AD v2 on Windows. Can someone outline how to use the "Cut Curve with Key Object" tool? When I go to View > Customize Toolbar and add it to the toolbar, nothing I do activates the tool for me to use. I also cannot find any reference of this in the documentation or any youtube video or googling. I've tried selecting multiple curves, a curve and an object, a stroke and a curve, etc. Along with different tools selected, such as the move tool, pen tool, knife tool, etc. What am I missing? Or if there is a link to a document that explains this, that would be great! Thanks! Lori
  3. OK, I just closed AP again and relaunched it, and I now have all my brushes. I don't know if it worked this time because I first opened up AD to view my brushes. then closed AD to then open AP but I now have all my brushes, even the ones I created. Not sure why the reset brushes didn't clear them out but i'm not complaining! It probably worked because i submitted this post.
  4. Last night my computer crashed, I didn't think much of it and decided to just do something else. Today, I turn on my computer, launch AP and see all my brushes are gone. Steps I took to try and resolve the issue: 1. Reset the brushes by holding down CTRL while launching AP, then deselecting all, then selecting reset brushes, then clear. 2. Ran a repair by downloading the latest version of AP, launched it, chose the repair option. 3. Uninstalled the application and then reinstalled. None of the above steps resolved the issue. Can someone please point me to where or what I need to do in order to get the brushes back? I can't proceed with any projects until I get at least the default brushes back. I'm on version 1.10.5.1342 running on Windows. Thanks!
  5. After you set the square to be the clipping mask, if you select the pic layer then click on the FX option, choose Outline and then increase the radius. Does that provide you with what you are looking for? Lori
  6. Yes, please, please add psb support. I happen to have another paint software program (not PS) that is able to export to psb but i would much rather be able to do everything inside of affinity, then export to my game engine.
  7. I am able to place an image of the snowflakes to the afdesign file, I just can't use it as an asset. I'd prefer to not place it as an image as it is a bit more tedious to shift the snowflakes around and determine which greyscale color I want a specific snowflake to be.
  8. I meant, either of the designer apps that are on my ipad and PC (photo has been working fine for me thus far).

  10. @Gabe Please see the attached file. When I drag the asset to the picture, designer crashes. I originally had snowflakes added as a layer but the application would crash as I was attempting to recolor them. So I deleted the snowflakes layer and now can't add the asset back. flakes.zip
  11. I have a vector file that is 38MB in size. I have an asset that is about 1M in size (hand made snowflakes). When I add the asset to the file, Affinity Designer freezes and crashes. This crashes on both my ipad and my desktop. I purchased Affinity designer and photo for both my desktop and ipad and I am not able to use either of these apps to make my designs. Please help me resolve these issues. Please let me know how we can resolve this issue.
