Printing Issues

Hello New to Affinity Designer. I just purchased a new IPAD Pro 12” and just started with Designer. I’ve created my work and of courses it full size on my screen, but when I go to print the actual picture I’ve made is no bigger then a postage stamp. I’ve tried to increase the pixels and increase the font on the designs etc but nothing works it didn’t even go up 1”. What am I doing wrong? Thank you Kate
