Hello again, I woke up to see I’m not able to maximize or minimize and I can’t see my layer panel on the interface. I’m literally a sitting duck at the moment since nothing can get done until this is fixed. Please see attached picture. also an old Problem that keeps reoccurring on both designer and publisher, once my cursor touches or hovers on the Noto sans fonts, the app freezes for like 30 seconds. I don’t know if it happens to just me or if someone else experienced this too.

Ok thanks for trying. What I lost were curves that had been converted into pixels (flattened) and then freehand colouring done on them. Everything pretty much disappeared out of the blue.

Would it be okay if I only copied the affected pages? My other illustrations weren’t affected. Just these two pages from the entire lots were affected.

Right before I installed this latest update, I was working on my illustrations and I saw my illustrations went black after clicking save, which took a long than usual time to save. I went ahead and installed the new update and still my illustrations are gone. It’s all gone black. Can anyone help me on how I can recover my illustrations? I’ve spent so much time on it to just start over. I’m crying as I type. This happened on Affinity Designer 2 - Beta on MacBook. Please help.

Thanks. I’m learning to save and preserve my works now. Funny enough, I haven’t encountered any problems with the affinity designer beta yet, only the publisher beta.

Hi, it usually relinks automatically. I’ve been using all Affinity apps now since they launched, I’ve never had to manually link anything before so I’m surprised. I however did select the original folder when it asked to link but nothing happened.

1. When placing photos in publisher, images don’t adhere to resize but rather hold on to their original size even after export. I also tried to replace image and it crashed twice now. 2. It doesn’t remember the source files after updates and therefore all images are blurry and must all be replaced. 3. I also noticed the sans noto fonts still freezes every time I hover on it. 4. Missing dictionary for German.

Af Publisher Beta keeps saying ‘Missing fonts’ when trying to open a WIP doc that I was already working on with the previous publisher 2 version. I can’t locate any missing font as all documents I offered kept getting tossed. Now my WIP is all blurry and now the publisher 2 is also showing blurry images and my work is ruined. I need to start from scratch!

Hi all, I'm new to Affinity Design. Does it record art strokes? I'm trying to do a speed painting kinda thing? I also got the prompt to record screen on my MacBook and i was thinking this was for recording art process.
