I create a lot of digital-only PDF files, and with the introduction of the Footnotes feature for printed works, adding hover-text for digital works would be an equivalent feature that would vastly improve my and others capabilities with digital products. In printed works, Footnotes are the only way to give explanations on certain topics, but with digital-only works you are not constrained by the same limitations. Limiting digital works to printed formatting makes the entire experience feel clunky and outdated. The ability for the user to click, tap, or hover over words, images, or other assets and receive an immediate explanation can be crucial. Between blue light, eye strain, and humans' limited attention span, digital publishers only have so much time and space to be both attention-grabbing and informative. Additionally, not needing to account for extra space that footnotes require widely expands the potential design and formatting options. I switched over to the Affinity series years ago, and hover text has been something I've been hoping could be implemented since day 1. Expanding the digital-exclusive features of publishers would officially make my other current programs obsolete. I hope this can be taken into consideration. Something I'd absolutely love is the ability to input Hover Text into my digital PDF/Online-only pieces. The ability to click on an image and have the artist/photographer pop up, the ability to click on a word and have it's definition pop up and so forth would be invaluable to me as someone who works primarily with publishing online. Would others find this as useful as me?

Hey all, sorry if this doesn't sound concise but I'm really frustrated Past two days Affinity Publisher has crashed almost every time I've hit the space button, usually when using the Artistic Text tool. It's rendering the program nearly unusable for me, and I have three different projects that I need to work on that I can't right now with the program crashing like this. If there's a way to send crash reports, let me know; I'm not the most tech savy. EDIT: just tried to use a text box and it's the same story: program just completes closes once I hit the space bar. Unless I somehow made space the shortcut for exiting, I have no idea why this is happening.

Interactive PDFs are a must for me! i do a lot with PDF and virtual publishing and it's the ONLY thing I miss from InDesign.

I uploaded this tex document as a rich text document, then changed the text to "body" which I had set to justify left. As you can see in the attached image, the program says it's justifying left when it is not. I've attempted changing the formatting, restarting the program, and so forth and nothing seems to bring forth any change in results. If this isn't a bug but a known fix I apologize, I browsed the forums but didn't see anything regarding this issue.
