  1. Ah.. makes sense! Tx Summersara.

Still need to do few steps to get the same result in AF (then in FW)...

To AF-TEAM here 3 tips to improve the flow for everyone:

    - Move flood select tool to AF designer
    - When clicking on del-button the selected region should be removed (now ctrl-X only works)
    - After an action deselect automatically - I now have to deselect (ctrl+D), otherwise selection will always be visible (extra clicks)

    Tx in advance ;)

  2. Tested this flow:

In FW: I select the bg with Magic wand tool and just click delete (to remove only the bg)

    In AF Designer:

    - I click on edit Photo
    - In AF Photo I click on Flood tool, select the bg, then need to go to Select and click on "invert selection"
    - Add a new mask, save it , then go back to designer to open the file

FW: 5 secs, AF: 1 min...

The selection brushtool is not handy (see example below)

  3. I guess I'm one of the latest Adobe Fireworks users out there (not being proud of).

I tried several applications and none of them can replace fully the simpleness of FW allthough AF is nearly there.

A feature that I really miss is the Magic wand tool in AF... using this A LOT (and I guess others aswell).  For my work I need to make wireframes and often need to copy/paste elements into my artboard which don't fit the design. An example you can find here below (done in Fireworks).

My question: any plans to add this feature in AF? If not, how do I need to do this in AF (tip: I used screenpresso to create this video)?

    Tx in advance

    Raey
