In case anyone is wondering, this issue is still happening. For me, it is not 100% of the time...but mostly. First real flaw I've experienced in Affinity.

No, it doesn't show up at all after you hit apply. It wasn't doing it anymore...until today.

Thank you. But I think you misunderstand what was happening...I probably didn't explain it well. I will do the sharpening. I hit apply. It's done. And about 2 seconds later it reverts back to what it was before the sharpening. You can actually see the sharpness suddenly degrade.

No, I am using it "to fit".

Yes, I am using the Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask option. And it doesn't do it consistently. Just once in a while on certain photos. It's weird.

When I use the unsharp mask to sharpen a photo, once I get everything adjusted like I want it, and then hit apply, it reverts back to before the sharpening.
