Let us combine this feature request with the one linked below.. I think there is tremendous possibility here and I see how this would/should work directly in my imagination. Please contact me, Serif. I want to be involved in this. And not just as an usual user feedback. I wanted a revolt against Adobe for a long time but I am powerless on my own. Help me do something with this ambition.

Okay thanks guys. I think this should be a feature tho. To be able to 'dive' into a cell the same way as you can into an object and let it have 'children' objects, mask, adjustment layers, etc. The functionality is already there. I think Affinity can harness it.

How did you do that? How did you get a color fill like this?

Why not use the Edit Table Format dialog box just yet? Is it in sort of a beta?

Yeah. I was a bit confused because (I think) in Illustrator you can't have shapes with holes in them without them being a 'compound path' and didn't really know yet that this was possible in Affinity, so my bad.

Ahh I see. You can also have 'compound' shapes with these boolean operations, without having them appear as 'compound' shapes in the Layers panel. Thanks guys.

Hi, I expanded my stroke, but what is it? It isn't a compound path, right? Because I can't select the inside path. But what is it then? I want to retain only the inside part. Do I need to do that manually by deleting individual points with the Node tool or is there a better way? Thanks in advance.

Found a solution! Check this out! Give a group that is inside a group a "Erase" blend mode. That group will become the mask layer. You can now change the group items without having to release the 'mask'.

Allright. But would this statement be reasonable: "The Pixel Persona is sort of a mini-Photo." ? Or: "You can't edit vector art in Photo, only pixel layers. But you can edit pixel layers in Designer"

Please change this. Why can't we just see the clipping mask layer on the nested adjustment layers? What is the point of it?

Hi, I see some features are available in 2 or 3 of the Affinity packages. For example: both Designer and Publisher have Character/Paragraph Styles. Adjustments layers both in Designer and Photo... etc. Is there a list that addresses all the overlaps? (Similarities and differences?) Thank you.

CryptoMatte in Affinity Photo would make the Affinity suite more complete for me.

Hi! I am working on a presentation now (a one page presentation, very long page) and because because I couldn't continue to make the page longer in Illustrator (canvas limit), I decided it was time to go and look into Affinity. Just saw the 2019 Publisher keynote and I am amazed. I wanted to edit this presentation afterwards with JavaScript, so for Illustrator I found this plugin which gave me direct export to css: http://exportkit.com/answers/how-to-convert-illustrator-ai-to-html And I was wondering if something like this css export is also possible if I make my presentation in Publisher.
