  1. Yes, and also visible on the MacOS Monterey Preview page (Universal Control section):
  2. Yes, so that you can quickly change typos in the filename. 😉 I support this. The whole implementation of the filename in the toolbar by Serif has been so bad (is my opinion) that I've decided to completely remove the filename from it via Customise Toolbar. It means I can't see the filename when there's only one file open without going to the Window menu, but that's an acceptable workaround for me.
  3. Serif's reasoning is probably a bit like this: Ctrl-click on Windows is the equivalent of Cmd-click on Mac; Cmd-click is not used in combination with this function on Mac, so we can't use Ctrl-click on Windows. Alt-click on Windows is the equivalent of Option-click on Mac; in this case we use it for Substract. Now we need something for Ctrl-click on Mac (Add function); Let's see what is available; Umm, nothing, so let's use RMB.
  4. I believe that lately all MacBooks have had a 16x10 aspect ratio with different resolutions. The 11" MacBook Air was the last one with a 16x9 aspect ratio, I believe.
  5. It looks like there is a difference. When I do a copy-paste from Keynote or Numbers, an image is pasted into AD. When I save as a PDF and place the document, it becomes an embedded document (on which I can double click to open all layers in another AD-tab and change individual colours as Jason also intends to do). What am I missing?
  6. Good to read how AD solves a problem for Jason ... https://sixcolors.com/post/2021/05/restyling-numbers-charts-in-affinity-designer/
  7. Yes, let's have this discussion again. 😀 At least on Mac, the rule is the following: Save, Save As - meant for the native file format Export/Share - meant for exporting to other formats, including the ones referred to above It works this way in Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher, Vectoraster, Logoist, Art Text, Letters … The software where it doesn't work that way if often software developed for Windows and (poorly) ported to Mac, e.g. Adobe software.
  8. I'm afraid not, but sometimes no information is better than old/poor/misleading information.
  9. The Miguel Both site hasn't been updated for a long time. Not sure if it gives a good representation of current state of plugins.
  10. At some moment, in order to continue development, Serif needs the financial incentive from existing customers upgrading to a new, paid version. Although I personally appreciate getting new functionality without having to pay for it, this can't go on for too long. And, I'm lucky since I've been there since the beginning (or at least close to it) so I've got a lot of improvements for my initial bucks. Other people, who've only joined since version 1.9, will have more problems having to pay for a 2.X version.
  11. Not sure if I understand this correctly, but on my Mac, when I used CTRL and SHIFT when moving node handles, they move simultaneously. E.g. when I move one of them to make a curve wider, the other one moves in the opposite direction symmetrically.
  12. Yes, I remember Scroll Reverser. I was one of the folks who used it to get the same behaviour as on iPad before it was introduced on MacOS.
  13. I prefer software to adhere to the expected behaviour by the OS. In the case of Apple (Magic Mouse as an example) it is scrolling, while for zooming a modifier key is used.
  14. Happy to learn that people are enjoying these assets. Here's a tip: if you add a 'Sphere' adjustment, like shown below, you can make the droplet a tad more realistic because it slightly distorts the underlying surface. Playing with the Intensity slider helps making this effect stronger or weaker. Of course, you can then re-save the assets for future usage.
  15. When you open the Adjustments tab, there's the LUTs section. If you click one you see the impact immediately. The same is true for LUTs you've loaded via Load LUT… button and saved as a Preset. Isn't that what you're looking for?
  16. … by the user, you mean? When I added a vertical gradient to my swatches list, it was still displayed as a horizontal one.
  17. Could be an interesting discussion, but is it Serif's responsibility to take care of false positives by these programs?
  18. One problem, soooo many solutions. Look what you can do with the Cog tool. 😀
  19. Of course, they could also use 1.9.X for bug fixing releases (in order to reserve 1.10, 1.11 etc. for minor new features).
  20. You can use the Cog tool to do this. Make one consisting of 6 segments with the following settings (as depicted): Then Duplicate this one, make it black and rotate 30 degrees. Result will be like this. You can play with the Inner Radius and Hole Radius to make it look more like your example.
