  1. Hi, My actual desire is to be able to mark a brush as a (sort of) favourite in an easy way. For instance, by being able to add a flag or other marker. I believe this is not possible. Looking for a workaround (I really like the new option to show brush names), I decided to make use of the possibility to rename a brush and use a special character as a prefix for a brush. I found out that it seems like you can do that, however, the actual special character doesn't show up in the new brush name. See below (the 2nd screenshot is taken after I renamed the brush). By the way, the pop up when you hover over the brush does show the special character, I just found out.
  2. Probably not, but for a company which has to make an economical decision there's a difference between a language spoken by 100M people vs one spoken by 24M people.
  3. Dutch is not such a big language (out of the 24 million users only a small fraction uses Affinity products). When you look in the Affinity products forums, you'll notice that 95%+ of the conversations are in English. In these conversations, when a user refers to Affinity product features, it's also using the English term. Such conversations will have little value to you if you have to translate from terms used in the conversation to the Dutch term you're using in a Dutch language interface. With an English GUI there's no need to do this translation.
  4. I support your suggestion to have Apple Motion integration. But, if you work with Motion and are looking for video editing, Apple Final Cut is the way to go, I think.
  5. https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/scanner-pro-document-scanning/id333710667?l=en just one example.
  6. As a Mac user I'm not affected by this 'bug' but I support every Windows user's request for Affinity products to respect the characteristics of the OS (as much as possible. 100% will be difficult).
  7. Probably that's exactly the reason why they aren't included in the Photo personal of Publisher (because it doesn't apply just to you).
  8. While you're creating your 20 separate entries, isn't this what you're looking for with regard to resizing a document?
  9. Looking at the first screen shot, which comes from Font Book, it appears to be an issue at the macOS level. Only the Italic versions are highlighted while the regular versions are dimmed. Affinity seems to respect what is happening in the OS, while the other tools, such as Sketch, have their own way of working with this Rubik font.
  10. I purchased Publisher in (late) June 2019 and that wasn't day one it was available, I believe. Price per day: €0,0357.
  11. Actually, it doesn't, since I'm a hobbyist only. But, it earns me a lot in the joy of using it.
  12. I bought Designer in October 2014, which translates to an investment of €0,0122/day over the lifetime until November 9th of this year. Both Photo and Publisher I bought later with prices per day of €0,015 for Photo and €0,035 for Publisher. Paying the new price for all products may translate to higher amounts per day (because of higher price and maybe shorter lifespan) but it's still an almost negligible amount.
  13. The DoF filter is an APhoto feature. I suggested it as an alternative to the Gaussian blur filter (which I believe is also APhoto only).
  14. This is what I had in mind … (not sure if it's the most efficient one, it contains a duplicate layer, maybe unnecessary). Centre Blur.afphoto
  15. Ctrl+Click also on Mac (so not Cmd+Click and not Ctrl+Double Click (as I myself suggested earlier 😀)).
  16. Both my Macs have the same settings for trackpad usage (I consistently use tap to click; never a hard click), but guess what? On the first Mac I can now also use single click with the Control key. Totally beats me. So, assuming it keeps working like this, I withdraw my original conclusion that a Control+Double Click was needed. Will share it if the alternative behaviour returns (which I don't expect and hope 😃). Sorry for the confusion caused.
  17. I tried on my other Mac and yes, there it uses the single click. Maybe one of the User Preferences (in Affinity or Mac System Preferences)?
  18. Looks like it's Control+Double Click on Mac. Can't get it to work with Cmd+Click.
  19. In the meantime, it would be nice if somebody could share the two magazines. I haven't been able to find them on my hard drive, somehow. Such a pity. 😥
  20. Objectively, the current model may be better but for some reason I also prefer to look forward to something that's released periodically.
  21. Actually, that's how Spotlight started, a pdf type of magazine one could download. Serif published two magazines before the switched to the current model.
