I've just bought Publisher today and would like to import a Word document. Not essential but I want to learn what publisher can do).
In Affinity Publisher Help it says:-
"Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word content can also be added to Publisher using a simple copy and paste, with the latter being importable using its DOCX file format."
It then proceeds to tell you about PDF importing but there's no further mention of Word. I can't for the life of me to get anything to go in.
What am I missing? Must I save as RTF as stated above, in which case why does Help not say so?

Is it possible to add labels to the toolbar?
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

As a newbie, I find I'm spending a lot of time waiting for the labels to pop up when I hover over a toolbar icon on the left.
Where there's a little triangle, I can click on it to see the pop-out but I constantly have to do it, up and down the toolbar.
Is there any way to show the labels without having to hover or click. Then I could just scan down the toolbar and quickly spot the one i want.
No doubt I'll learn them all in tie but it's slowing the learning process considerably.
