The best PDF size management in Affinity Designer is not implemented yet, but it's on the roadmap: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/842-affinity-designer-feature-roadmap/ For now the solution is to use an external app (like toyotadesigner say).

Good morning everyone, I received an email from Serif for the launch of DrawPlus X8. There is reciprocity between Affinity and Plus projects? Because if we have in the Affinity Designer the "replicate tool" the "contours" and the "vector pattern fills" would be great! Paolo

Sometimes in woodworking I need to draw cogs for making jigs. Please add the possibilities to use millimeters instead the % for the cog shape dimensions. Paolo

Go to the first tread in the beta section, in the first post there is the link for download the beta.

In the tool palette expand the submenu of the triangle shape and select the cog. Adjust the cog shape as you like, for a non regular stroke use, or create for yourself, a brush. Done.

Little bug: if you use large on "Tool UI size" and "Font UI Size" settings the piker icon on the Fill tabs covers the gradient text (see screenshots) No problems if I use the "default" settings. Paolo

In some works there is a lot of things, and sometime I need to have one or more of this things in separate files for reuse in other projects. Please, add in the Export Persona the possibility to export slices or single layers like a .afdesign files. Paolo

Hi, sorry for this delay, in this days I am busy... Thanks for all the reply, when I wrote "like in DrawPlus" I intend the PDF-X export option with all the professional printing needs, like cross marks etc. etc. Without this export option I am chained to Illustrator... (sigh...) Cheers Paolo
