Problem: Installation of Affinity Publisher doesn't work. Steps to reproduce: Running affinity-publisher-1.7.2.exe on Windows 7 (SP1 installed and Aero enabled) Expected result: Installation starts Actual state: the installation doesn't start the splash screen is displayed permanently, see attached screenshot no reaction even after 30 min, no abnormalities with CPU and RAM in task manager More info: Installation file was downloaded 2x, even the 2nd file could not be installed. Running as administrator didn't work either An installation on Win10 was successful, but this is not the desired working environment. Questions: How can the installation be performed? Which 3rd party components could cause that problem? already checked that one:
